Thomas Widmer joined Independent Credit View AG in June 2021 as a Credit Analyst. Previously, he worked at VZ Vermögenszentrum as a Financial Analyst in the Fixed Income division. In this role, he was responsible for fund research as well as the selection and analysis of individual bonds. He originally started his career in the insurance industry, where he held various positions.
Thomas is a qualified insurance salesman and completed a bachelor’s degree in International Management with a specialisation in Banking & Finance at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. In spring 2021, he took and successfully passed the Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) exam.
At I-CV, Thomas is responsible for the credit rating of companies in the sectors pharmaceuticals, consumer durables & apparel, household & personal products as well as retail. He is also involved in the further development of ESG projects.
